After updating to the v3 kernel, the
virtualbox-host-modules-arch
package no longer functions correctly, and virtualbox vms can't be started.virtualbox-host-dkms
does work, but it's not made clear that it is necessary, since once you set your pacman sources, the update to the v3 is completely transparentThis is already described in https://git.harting.dev/ALHP/ALHP.GO#user-content-directly-linked-kernel-modules.
Until we can build modules like
nvidia
with alhp'slinux
present there is nothing we can do here besides maybe blacklistinglinux
.Duplicate of #68.
