Apparently, there's a project OpenBSD has that maintains Xorg with their own maintenance patches and Hyperbola Linux has a range of Arch PKGBUILD packages for it, with their own compatibility patches for Linux support (although with systemd disabled in the configure step) here and here; and with xwayland disabled here, and I was wondering if it would be considered that these packages could be added to this repo for use with regular Arch systems since we don't have Xenocara in the Arch repos.

Upstream Xorg isn't getting as much attention as it used to these days and OpenBSD's "fork" of it (they refuse to call it a fork) might actually be more maintained in the future if it isn't already.

Normally I want to provide as much as a 'vanilla' arch experience as possible. If someone wants something other than X, there is always Wayland to switch to. IMHO this is better suited to be an AUR package.
